As part of efforts to maintain healthy living among his workforce, the Executive Chairman of Mushin Local Government – Hon. Emmanuel Bamigboye has organised the April edition of the monthly Free Health Screening and Treatment for public servants and political office holders in Mushin.
The programme which took place on Monday 7th April at the council hall, had staff being screened for various ailments and were treated immediately.
Public servants from all the Area Offices, Customary court, government agencies and patastatals working in Mushin also benefitted from the programme as Doctors were fully on ground for consultation with kits and equipment for tests and Pharmacists who administered medications to the staff after prescription by the doctors.
Many of the staff were happy with the timing of the programme which came at a time they are experiencing a change weather due to the commencement of the rainy season.
They expressed gratitude to the chairman for the free medical services which would have come with a cost in any private hospital.
