HON. EMMANUEL OLANREWAJU BAMIGBOYE

Hon. Emmanuel Olanrewaju Bamigboye was born on 25^th May, 1963. After his Primary and Secondary School education, he proceeded to the Lagos State Polytechnic where he bagged both National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration. He went further in his acaemic career to obtain a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) and Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from  Ambrose Alli University in Ekpoma, Edo State. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management and  Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Local Government and Public Administration of Nigeria.

Prior to his political career Hon. Emmanuel Bamigboye worked at Minesota Nigeria Limited and rose in ranks and files to become an Accontant in the company before he finally resigned to become the Vice Chairman of Mushin Local government.

The journey of Hon. Emmanuel Bamigboye in politics started from his schools days at Lagos State Polytechnic, where he served as the Public Relations Officer of the Students’ Union. 

He was appointed as Senior Special Assistant on Commerce and Industry to the then Governor of Lagos state, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu during his second term tenure.

In 2008, he got the ticket to serve as the Vice Chairman of Mushin Local Government with the late Hon. Babatunde Adepitan who was chairman, in a two – term administration that lasted six years (2008-2014).

In 2017, he won at the primary and got the ticket of his party (APC), which led to his emergence as the Executive Chairman of Mushin Local Government. A position he has occupied since July 2017, which he again won having secured the highest votes of over 28,000 in the hisory og Local Governmnet election in Lagos State, for another four years (2021 till date).
